From April 2023 to August 2024, I had the opportunity to work as the Senior Graphic Designer at Monster Transmission & Performance, a leading automotive e-commerce company. During this time, my main focus was updating the live website with new, dynamic graphics, ensuring a seamless visual experience for customers while maintaining the brand's identity.
Updating the Website with New Graphics
As part of my role, I took charge of updating the existing website with fresh and engaging visuals that aligned with the company's goals. My design choices were centered on enhancing the user experience, making the site more intuitive and visually appealing. This included everything from banner updates and promotional graphics to revamping product pages and ensuring a cohesive style across all visual elements.
Media Management with Cart3D
An essential part of the job was managing all image and video files through Cart3D. This powerful media management platform allowed me to streamline the process of organizing, uploading, and optimizing multimedia assets. My responsibilities included:
- Image Optimization: Ensuring high-quality images for both desktop and mobile users while maintaining fast load times.
- Video Management: Handling product demos, tutorials, and promotional content by properly formatting and compressing videos for web performance.
Designing and Creating All Website Graphics
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work was having full control over the design process. I conceptualized, designed, and created all the graphics used across the website. This included:
- Custom Banners and Headers: Crafting eye-catching visuals for key promotions and product launches.
- Product Page Graphics: Ensuring every product was presented with compelling images, optimized for conversions.
- Interactive Elements: Creating icons and graphic elements that enhanced the site’s functionality and aesthetics.
By overseeing every stage of the design process, I was able to ensure that Monster Transmission & Performance maintained a strong and consistent visual identity, contributing to the brand's overall success in the competitive automotive e-commerce space.
