During my role as Senior Graphic Designer at Monster Transmission & Performance from April 2023 to August 2024, I was heavily involved in managing the company's email marketing, including tracking performance and setting up automation. This project was essential in driving customer engagement, nurturing leads, and maintaining brand loyalty through targeted campaigns.


Email Marketing Strategy

I was responsible for developing and executing email marketing strategies that aligned with Monster Transmission’s sales goals and customer engagement objectives. My work included:

  • Designing Email Campaigns: I created visually appealing and responsive email templates that reflected the brand’s identity and delivered clear messaging, whether it was for promotional offers, product launches, or event announcements.
  • Segmenting Audiences: I worked with customer data to create targeted lists, ensuring each campaign reached the right audience with tailored content.
  • A/B Testing: I performed A/B testing on subject lines, call-to-action buttons, and email design elements to optimize open rates and click-through rates.

Tracking and Performance Monitoring

To measure the success of each campaign, I set up email tracking systems that provided detailed insights into how our audience interacted with the emails. I monitored key performance metrics, including:

  • Open Rates and Click-Through Rates (CTR): I analyzed which campaigns performed best and adjusted content accordingly to improve engagement.
  • Conversion Tracking: By tracking user behavior after interacting with the emails, I measured how many leads converted into actual sales, allowing us to refine our approach for better results.
  • Bounce Rates and Unsubscribes: These insights helped us maintain clean, targeted email lists and reduce the likelihood of emails ending up in spam folders.

Automation and Workflow Setup

In addition to creating and managing manual campaigns, I implemented email automation workflows to ensure efficient communication with leads and customers. This included:

  • Welcome Series: I automated a series of onboarding emails that welcomed new subscribers and introduced them to Monster Transmission’s products and services.
  • Abandoned Cart Emails: For customers who added items to their cart but didn’t complete the purchase, I set up automated reminder emails, encouraging them to return and complete their orders.
  • Re-Engagement Campaigns: I designed automated workflows to re-engage inactive customers with special offers or reminders about new products, helping to boost retention.

Impact on Business Growth

The implementation of a robust email marketing and automation system led to significant improvements in customer engagement and sales. Through targeted email campaigns and automated workflows, we saw:

  • Higher Engagement Rates: By sending the right messages to the right people, we were able to increase open and click-through rates, leading to more website visits and conversions.
  • Increased Sales: Automated abandoned cart reminders and promotional campaigns helped recover lost sales and boosted revenue.
  • Improved Customer Retention: Personalized re-engagement campaigns strengthened relationships with existing customers, keeping them loyal to the brand.

By managing and optimizing the email marketing process, I helped Monster Transmission & Performance stay connected with their audience while driving measurable growth for the business.
